This is a view from Tommy Condon's pub looking out at the
horse drawn tour wagons in Charleston SC. The city ordinance only
allows 20 horse wagons at a time on the roads, and the routes are given
by lottery. The drivers queue up for their draw before taking the
tourists on a one hour ride. Well worth it. Local color,
comedy,
history, and beautiful homes. Buying a home in Charleston?
Bring extra money, it is very 'spendy' as Alaskans say. A friend
told us it is not "Charleston" but "Charleston Honey" and the southern
hospitality and cordiality is real. |
