Arusha Tanzania Entry

This is our "jumping off point" for our African Safari Adventure.  We will meet up in Arusha, and have a day to relieve "jet lag" then off on our journey.

Lake Manyara Game Park

A magnificent accumulation of wildlife around a rift valley lake

Ngorongoro Crater Game Park

The crater of a giagantic extinct volcano has become one of the world's most amazing wildlife sanctuaries.  The scale is hard to comprehend and the wildlife is spectacular!

Serengeti

Witness the location of one of the world's greatest animal migrations as zebra, wildebeest, lions, elephants, giraffes and other of the big African animals move across this immense plain of grassland each year. Think KANSAS and NEBRASKA with no fences!

Dar Es Salaam Beach Resort

A vacation safari involves lots of travel, which can be tiring though enjoyable.  A few days of pampering at a luxury equatorial beach resort is just the thing to ease those tired muscles, and relax!

Olduvai (Oldupai) Gorge

This is our "home" according to the paleontologists who discovered bones of our earliest ancestors in this dry creekbed that has eroded down through layers of volcanic ash.  Footprints of our earliest hominid ancestors are here too and you can see a casting of them.  Short visit, but memory of a lifetime.
